The interns that worked on the Chanute Collection over the course of 2019-2020 are happy to present digitally accessible finding aids for the collections that have been processed since the collection was obtained in 2016. These collections will be accessible to the public. If you are interested in viewing these materials, please contact the archives staff at least 48 hours ahead of time. The collections include: Commanding Officers, Buildings, Aircraft, the 75 Year Pictorial history, Prisoners of War/Missing in Action, Historiography, Certificates, Technical Training, Non-Commissioned Officers, Department histories, Clubs and Committees, Newsletters, Octave Chanute, Building Records, Youth Center, General Base history, and Personnel Subject Files.
Making the work of the all the interns accessible was one of the main goals for the interns that worked on the Chanute Collection in 2019-2020. We are thrilled that we are finally posting these for all to see!
